Our family just purchased a travel trailer that sits on a beautiful lot at a campground we have been vacationing at for about 8 or 9 years. I was so apprehensive about the purchase. It was a lot of money initially to come up with after we had worked so hard to whittle down our debt. Financial freedom is a difficult thing for me to part with. I'm not saying that we are in over our head, because that is not the case, but just knowing it is another monthly bill for a while...I have difficulty accepting that some times. However when we looked at how much we spend each summer for two weeks, we really are not spending a whole lot more in the long run to be able to spend any weekend we want and more in the place we love to relax. So this weekend was our first weekend in our very own travel trailer. I never imagined we would ever do this. And it was really wonderful. I did not have any problem at all adjusting to the small shower and the small spaces. I so enjoyed making my coffee in the morning and sitting all morning on the brick deck doing just about nothing and saying good morning to anyone who wandered by.
Yes, this was the right choice.
